New Religion

New Religion is an independent clothing company that was looking for a logo for their brand. As a company with the word religion in the name, I wanted the logo to also serve as a symbol, so I focused on creating a logo with gestalt principles. The leg of the R was extended to be parallel with the stroke of the N. This line represents the overlap between religions aka their "parallel" characteristics. This is not a faith based company, but it's fun to create little easter eggs and stories in designs.
